Senator Arlen Specter Supports Regenerative Medicine

National Center for Research Resources Awards PTEI $1.25 Million to Develop Carnegie Science Center Interactive, Tissue Engineering Exhibit

Targeting middle school students, teachers, and the general public, PTEI was awarded 1.25 million NCRR Phase I and Phase II Science Education Partnership Award (Grant #R25RR023286) for the Carnegie Science Center Hands-On Exhibit with ASSET-driven curricula and teacher professional development entitled, "If a Starfish Can Grow a New Arm, Why Can't I?"

PTEI receives National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Award

In recognition of PTEI’s expertise and success in exposing undergraduate students to the wonders and promise of tissue engineering research, the PTEI has been awarded a new Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), three-year grant from the NSF for implementation of a new REU site entitled, Multicultural Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Structural Tissue Engineering (#EEC-0648781).

 


 

Postdoctoral Fellowship Positions for FY07-08: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

PTEI invites applicants for its innovative, NIH-supported, Post-doctoral Fellowship Program in Tissue Engineering (TE). Successful postdoctoral fellow candidates pursue training in musculoskeletal TE, encompassing seven focus areas: artificial organs, bioimaging, biomaterials, bone and muscle, gene therapy, stem cell biology, and transplantation.
