SciTech Spectacular 2008

Led by PTEI Director of Education and Workforce Development, Joan Schanck, students were introduced to the field of tissue engineering and participated in a bone building contest.

This year's 1st and 2nd place winners include:

1st place -- Mike Melrose, Carlow Middle School Campus. Mike's bone construct name is MMM. MMM had a maximum support of 7.1kg.

2nd place -- Roy Hadfield and TJ Kuny, Quaker Valley Middle School. Roy and TJ's bone construct name is Tigrex, with a maximum support of 6.9kg.
