Great News from a Former Intern!

Michael Booker, a 2011 high school intern, was recently interviewed by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, and credited the PTEI High School Internship Program as a driver for his future career path. When asked, where would you like your career path to go after college, his reply was, “After college and after grad school, I would like to go into stem cell research. It has always been an interest of mine after I interned at Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative. I hope to one day have my own lab, The Booker Lab, where we test procedures from the lab bench to the bedside. That would be truly a joy and very satisfying.” Read more…
